Samsung Malaysia has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S III mini which is priced at RM1,199. Malaysians are getting the 8GB version and based on the spec sheet, NFC is being supported as well. This means you can transfer contacts and files wirelessly with S Beam.
To recap on the specs, the Galaxy S III mini comes with a mid-level dual-core 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and a 4.0″ Super AMOLED display. In terms of screen resolution, it is a notch below its bigger brother with 800×480 pixels. It comes with a 5MP camera at the back and a front facing VGA camera. Out of the box, the Galaxy S III mini runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
