Makers of the world’s thinnest smartphone Oppo from China has hinted on its official Facebook page that its 4.15-inch, quad-core, 1080p Find 5 Android smartphone may come to Malaysia.
The Oppo Find 5 packs impressive hardware including a full HD 1080p 4.15-inch display (441ppi), an f2.2 13MP rear camera and a 1.9MP front camera, a 1.5Ghz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core processor pair with 2GB of RAM and the option of 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, though that’s all the on-device storage you’ll get as the Find 5 doesn’t come with a memory card slot. Power comes from a 2500mAh battery though a battery pack with a capacity upwards of 3,000mAh would give the device better battery life, we think. And if you’re wondering, the Find 5 doesn’t have LTE.
Oppo claims that at the heart of the 13MP camera is “the most advanced 1/3.06-type sensor available”. The makers also say that the Find 5 is the first smartphone to use hardware supported HDR stills and video recording, plus it has a burst mode that shoots 100 stills in five seconds and 1080p video recording at up to 120 frames per second.
The device runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and aside from a screen capture of a listing its website, Oppo is not sharing not much detail on when exactly the device will come to Malaysia and how much it will cost (RRP listed on the website says about RM1,500 for the 16GB version and around RM1,800 for the 32GB).
Thanks @ terry3386 for the headsup
