Nokia Lumia 920 & 820 officially announced for Malaysia

The anticipated Nokia Lumia 920 & Lumia 820 is now officially announced for Malaysia with Nokia accepting pre-orders tomorrow onward. Both models will be available officially on the 21st December which is the following Friday after the iPhone 5‘s official release. The Lumia 920 and 820 are priced at RM1,999 and 1,599 respectively, as reported earlier by LowYat.Net.

Yesterday evening, DiGi has started teasing that they would be offering both devices on contract. Apart from them, Celcom too is expected to offer the device on contract bundling as well.

To refresh on the hardware specs, both Lumia 920 and 820 are running on a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and the latest Windows Phone 8 operating system. What sets them apart is that the Lumia 920 comes with a larger 4.5″ PureMotion HD+ screen, a better 8.7MP PureView camera and a larger 32GB on board storage.

The Lumia 820 in the other hand comes with a smaller 4.3″ screen that does 800×480 pixels resolution, 8MP Camera and 8GB of storage which is can be expanded with microSD. With the high speed 4G LTE expected to make its debut in Malaysia soon, you’ll be pleased to know that both Lumia 920 and 820 devices support LTE 2600MHz band which will be used by our telcos.
