Nokia Lumia 920 & 820 coming soon to DiGi

Nokia’s latest Windows Phone 8 devices – Lumia 920 and 820 is coming soon to Malaysia. DiGi will be one of the telcos offering it on contract and this was revealed with its teaser graphic on its website today. There’s no official availability dates and pricing at the moment but Lowyat.Net has recently mentioned that the Lumia 920 and 820 is expected to be priced at RM1,999 and RM1,599 respectively.

To recap on the specs, the flagship Lumia 920 comes with 4.5″ PureMotion HD+ display that pushes 1280×768 pixels resolution, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and a generous 32GB of storage. One of its key highlight is the 8.7MP PureView Camera which comes with floating lens image stabiliser. The smaller Lumia 820 is a mid-spec device with a 4.3″ display that pushes 800×480 pixels, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage which is expandable with microSD.

So far HTC is the only prominent Windows Phone player with its Windows Phone 8X. It was made available recently in a rather quiet fashion with U Mobile as the only telco offering it on contract right now. The next formidable rival would be the Samsung Ativ S which is likely to be released here next year.
