Sony Mobile is one of the big name sponsors in the latest Bond movie Skyfall. During the opening weekend of the movie, Sony had given away its water resistant Sony Xperia Acro S by hiding them randomly in selected soft drink cups that they are giving out to cinema-goers. Drumming up the suspense, the winner is then revealed James Bond style by ringing the Xperia Acro S in front of everyone.
It is also interesting to point out that the “official” Bond phone is actually the Xperia T, not the Acro S. Apart from the Acro S, the Xperia V too is another high spec model with water resist capabilities.
