UPDATE: HTC One X+ availability delayed to mid-November.

HTC is gearing up to launch its latest flagship Android, the One X+ with a regional event scheduled to happen tomorrow (Friday, November 2) in Singapore. As always, we will be where the action is to bring you a first-hand look at what HTC say is their best Android smartphone ever — wonder where that puts the full HTC J Butterfly 5-inch full HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4 (MDM9615 + APQ8064) processor with 2GB of RAM and 2.1MP front facing camera.

We’re also expecting the HTC 8X running Windows Phone 8 to make its debut in SEA at the event, so that’s something to look forward to as well.

Officially announced in October this year, the HTC One X+ improves on one of our favourite Android smartphones, the HTC One X, with a beefed up 1.7GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor (versus a 1.5GHz Tegra 3 unit in the One X). The battery has also been uprated to a 2,100mAh unit from 1,800mAh in the previous version. You also get a 1.6MP front facing camera (versus 1.3MP in the previous version). Everything else on the One X+ is identical to the One X.

We’ve been informed that the One X+ goes on sale this Sunday. Pricing details have not been revealed but expect it to be around the RM2,000 mark, maybe just below. You can also expect operator offerings as well but all these details are tentative at the moment. Stay tuned as we bring you updates. Follow us on Twitter for the very latest on the HTC One X+

After the jump, HTC’s promo video of the 8X.
