Quad-core Huawei Honor 2 announced with 4.5″ display

If you think the Huawei Honor is a joke, think again. Huawei has just announced its next sequel, the Huawei 2 which comes with rather impressive hardware. It now comes with a 4.5″ IPS display that pushes 1280×720 pixels resolution. This gives a pixel density of 326ppi which is similar to the iPhone 4S/5. The Honor has also step up as a high-spec device which now runs on a 1.4GHz quad-core processor mated with 2GB RAM option (1GB version also available) and 8GB of storage.

There’s a 8MP shooter at the back and a decent battery capacity of 2,250mAh. Internally, it runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich which is currently 2 steps behind the recently announced Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Huawei Honor 2 will be available in China beginning 4th November for 1,888 Yuan which is about RM925 which makes it an affordable quad-core contender.
