Google event cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy

The upcoming Google Android event that’s happening on 29th October has been cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. The venue which is a waterfront in New York City has been declared an evacuation zone.

This forced Google to reschedule their event where it is expected that Nexus 4, new variant of Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and an updated Android 4.2 will be revealed. Google said that they will update new event details as soon as possible.

This isn’t the first time Google has to cancel their event. Last year the unveiling of Galaxy Nexus and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich was postponed as a tribute to Steve Job’s passing.
