Tune Talk Cun Plan: 1GB + 60min calls for RM38/month

Tune Talk is bringing no frills data plan to a new low with its new Cun Plan. For RM38 month you’ll get 1GB of data and 60 minutes of local calls within Malaysia. This makes it an attractive package for those that uses mobile internet heavily with occasional phone calls. The value of 1GB data and 60 minute talk time rivals most postpaid packages out there.

Apart from monthly option, there’s also a weekly package of RM10/week which offers 200MB of data and 20 minutes of calls. Once you’ve exceed your usage, the standard 5 sen/MB rates apply for internet usage. Any unused quota won’t be carried over after the validity period has expired.

To activate the plans, SMS CC10 to 2222 for weekly or SMS CC38 for monthly. You can get full activation/deactivation details here.

The only bummer is it doesn’t seem to have a USSD activation option (e.g. *133#) and each SMS request to 2222 including check of status is charged at 10 sen per SMS.
