LG’s 5″ Phone-Tablet Optimus VU is expected to arrive in Malaysia soon. A teaser has been posted on LG Malaysia’s Facebook page which revealed more details of the device.
Instead of the recently launched Optimus VU II, we are getting the earlier Optimus VU model instead which is powered by Quad Core Tegra 3 4-Plus-1 processor. The 5.0″ display pushes 1024×768 pixels resolution. Compared to the Galaxy Note, the Optimus VU appears to be more squarish due to its 4:3 display aspect ratio. Over at the back, it comes with a 8MP shooter and is powered by a 2,080mAh battery.
The Optimus VU weighs 168 grams and has a thickness of 8.5mm. A Rubberdium stylus is also included. When the Optimus VU has announced, it ran on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Hopefully it comes running with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box when it goes on sale.
No pricing and availability exact dates we’re mentioned but it will definitely be having a tough fight against the Samsung Galaxy Note II.
