The upcoming Nexus device from LG is said to be revealed officially on 29th October 2012. While it is unclear if the date is just a launch date, word has it that the device would be ready for online order through Google Play at selected countries.
In terms of naming, the device is rumoured to be called the Nexus 4 and it is based on LG’s flagship Optimus G that features a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4.7″ TrueHD display and runs on Android 4.2. The naming earlier was spotted at an inventory system of a phone retailer in the UK.
Couple of days back, photos of the device we’re leaked out showing off its Galaxy Nexus-like shape. So far it is uncertain if this is the final design as LG might be deploying various prototypes to avoid early leaks such as this. So far there’s no news on the other “Nexus” devices coming from Samsung and Sony.
