Apart from Malaysia, Japan has also officially revealed its Galaxy Note II through NTT Docomo with availability only in November. There is however another surprise in a form of a bumped up Galaxy S III which runs on a similar 1.6GHz Quad-core Exynos 4412 processor. Dubbed as the Galaxy S III Alpha, it will be available in December.
Other than the processor, the rest of the hardware remains unchanged such as the 4.8″ HD Super AMOLED display, NFC, 8MP camera and 2,100mAh battery. Since it is a Japan targeted device, it also comes with support for 1Seg TV.
Japan sure does get rather interesting models and earlier on there’s even a dual-core version of the Galaxy S III but comes with a generous 2GB of RAM.
