Sony Xperia P gets Ice Cream Sandwich update

After the Sony Xperia S, its next in line Sony Xperia P is finally getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The update brings a host of new features which include a new lock screen, resizable widgets, new recent apps function and a couple of interface improvements.

The remaining Sony Xperia devices such as Xperia U, Xperia sola and Xperia go will be updated soon, hopefully within the coming months.

In other news, Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note which recently gotten Ice Cream Sandwich is said to be upgraded for another round to Jelly Bean. The same goes for the latest Samsung Galaxy S III where its official Android 4.11 Jelly Bean firmware was leaked recently.
