Celcom Launches All-New “First Voice” Plans

This post is sponsored by Celcom, the operator with Malaysia’s widest network and winner of Frost & Sullivan’s Mobile Broadband Provider of the Year for two years in a row.

Celcom brings a new addition to its mobile service offering with its all-new “First Voice” plans. The new plan offers more value for heavy SMS and mobile voice users with call rates that go lower with more minutes used and one rate for SMS. In addition, the new plans with a selection of low monthly commitments to suit different needs, also adds up to 200MB of free data.

Among the key highlights of the new Celcom “First Voice” Plans:
One Rate – Customers enjoy one simple flat rate from as low as 10 sen across voice, video,
SMS and MMS to all networks, at anytime, anywhere, making it easier to keep track
of usage.

Real Rate – Charging will be calculated in real-time for all voice, video, SMS and MMS
usage, so that customers know their up-to-date usage as they use the service.

Auto Rate – Customers will automatically be upgraded to a lower rate the moment their
Real Rate hits the next price tier, meaning the more they use, the more they save with a
lower rate. For instance, customers under the Celcom First Voice Prime plan at a monthly
usage commitment of RM40 and a 15 sen flat rate will automatically enjoy a new flat rate
of 12 sen for that billing period the moment their Real Rate hits RM80, which is the next
monthly commitment tier of Celcom “First Voice Premier”

Pick a Paid – Customers enjoy the flexibility of selecting their mode of payment, whether
through usual postpaid billing or prepaid methods.

Pay Your Way – Provides customers the convenience of paying their postpaid bills using
reload card.

Smart Menu – Customers stand to take control over their own services via a self-help menu
that allows them to manage their account at their fingertips, at anywhere and anytime.

First Advantage – Celcom Voice Plan Elite Customers get to enjoy VIP privileges such as
personalised customer service, a dedicated service number, free data, dedicated
customer service personnel to assist with requests, and the advantage to be the first to
know about Celcom events and product launches.

After the break, check out more details on the Celcom “First Voice” plans.

There are 3 options which comes with its own monthly usage commitment – Prime (RM40/month), Premier (RM80/month) and Elite (RM150/month). All voice calls, video calls, SMS and MMS are charged with a flat rate based on each respective plan with Prime offering 15 sen flat rate, premier at 12 sen and Elite at 10 sen. For data, “Celcom First Premier” offers monthly pre-bundled 100MB while Elite comes with 200MB. For Celcom “First Prime”, they offer 50MB free for the first month. For moderate to heavy data users, Celcom offers the option to add-on more data starting from RM28/month for 300MB to RM88/month for 5GB of data.

Customers can also save more with the “1+5 Plan” supplementary line package. Each supplementary line comes with a monthly commitment of RM15 with free voice and video calls, SMS & MMS between the main and supplementary lines.

In conjunction with the launch of the new “First Voice” plans, Celcom has also adopted a 32-year old Asian Elephant named Teriang as an initiative to raise awareness of the importance of wildlife preservation. With each customer that signs up for the “First Voice” plan, Celcom will contribute 10 sen to Teriang’s upkeep.
