Motorola Mobility Announces it’s Most Affordable RAZR for Malaysia, the RAZR V

Motorola Mobility today announced the latest addition to the RAZR line-up for South East Asia. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor packed in a decently thin 8.35mm body, the Motorola RAZR V is designed to combine value, performance and style in one.

The RAZR V features a 4.3-inch Gorilla Glass display that is enhanced with Motorola’s ColorBoost display technology. In addition, the RAZR V runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and features a backplate that is completely covered with Kevlar.

Other than that, we don’t have much detail on the full specifications of the device. We’ll have to wait till closer to the launch date for more info. In terms of pricing, the RAZR V will be the most affordable Android-based RAZR in the market, so it should be cheaper than the RAZR MAXX that currently retails for RM1,688. Release date is slated for Q3 but not firm date has been set.

Despite being the budget device of the bunch, it’s good to see that Motorola has not taken any of the stylish elements of the RAZR away from the RAZR V. We’re still firm that the RAZR is the most stylish Android devices in the market right now and the RAZR V looks to follow that trend. In addition, the affordable pricing could possibly make this new RAZR the most desirable in the lineup.
