UPDATE: P1 removes Kedah, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan & Perak from its P1 Fiber service availability list.

Today P1 has officially revealed its High Speed Broadband (HSBB) Fibre plans called F! which is Fiber by P1. When the plan to launch fibre was announced, P1 claims that this offer the best of both worlds with 4G in the air and Fibre on the ground. The irony is that P1 has been urging people to cut wires with its “potong” campaign and now they are offering wired connectivity. It is interesting to note that P1 is calling the service Fiber, which is a US English spelling of “Fibre”.

Looking at the plans, P1 offers 3 consumer packages from 5Mbps to 20Mbps and business packages up to 30Mbps. P1 Fiber doesn’t offer IPTV service but instead they are bundling 4G On the go broadband with 3GB dedicated quota. Voice services come as standard and has bundled minutes included according to plan. For home consumer packages, they are throwing in additional security services such as Anti-spyware, Parental Control, Anti-Virus, Firewall & Spam filters.

In terms of coverage, P1 Fiber is available in various parts of the Klang Valley, Johor, Melaka, Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Pulau Pinang and Putrajaya. Not surprising since they tap into the same network as TM Unifi. You can check if your premise is covered here.

Head after the break for the plan breakdown.

Home Consumer Plans

The P1 Fiber consumer plans didn’t differ from what was earlier revealed. Installation charge of RM200 seems to apply which is currently waived by TM Unifi and Maxis. Despite having the OnePlan name, quota between the fixed fibre and 4G On The Go usage are separated.

Biz Plans

For Business Plans, P1 Fiber offers unlimited quota on downloads. However for those that need Fixed IP for their connection might be disappointed as P1 OneBizFiber offers dynamic IP across all plans. As comparison Maxis offers Fixed IP across all business plans while TM offers Fixed IP option for 10Mbps and above.
