Samsung Galaxy Note users hoping to get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich might need to wait a little longer. According to Samsung Norway’s facebook page, the ICS upgrade for Galaxy Note will be released in Q2 this year. A few days ago, Samsung has announced its roll out of ICS in stages for the Galaxy S II.
For other models, Samsung has already listed Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Tab 10.1 as additional models to get ICS but without providing any roll out timeline. Also yet to be known is the ICS upgrade for the recent Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Tab 7.7. Since they are rather similar to the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Tab 2 10.1, it shouldn’t be too hard for them to push ICS over onto existing models.
Let’s hope it won’t get delayed any further.
