The Xperia S comes with a special anti-stain coating which repels dirt and makes cleaning easier. This helps especially for the white version that’s usually perceived to be prone to dirt and smudges.
A while back, we saw an Xperia S being cleaned after it was scribbled with a pen. Of course it wasn’t surprising considering ball pen ink can be rubbed off with a little friction and heat.
Here’s another video putting the Xperia S anti-stain coating to the test and this time with marker pens. From the video, it appears to be much more difficult to remove but with constant rubbing with eraser, they have managed to remove the stains completely. Scribbling with marker pen is overly excessive and the extreme rubbing might just wear off the anti-stain coating completely.
