MWC 2012: The Stage is Set for the Launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

After weeks of speculation and rumours, Samsung has pretty much confirmed the existence of the 10.1-inch Galaxy Note, and the Korean manufacturer is ready to show it off to the world.

While we know that the Galaxy Note 10.1 is official, the more pertinent details like hardware specifications, OS, pricing and availability are still yet unrevealed but that will not be for long.

Samsung is schedule for a press conference in Barcelona at 1600hrs Malaysian time, Monday February 27. We expect the Galaxy Note 10.1 to make its official debut at this press conference along with all its glorious details. Also, we’re hoping against hope that Samsung will talk a little bit about its upcoming and very much anticipated flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S III at the press conference as well.

Back to the Galaxy Note 10.1, looking at the advertisement billboards and signage, we’re a little concerned about the stylus/digitizer pen that comes with the device. It doesn’t look like there’s any room for the accessory to fit in the device for storage when not in use. We all know that this is an issue because without a proper place to store the pen, the risk of losing it is very high. In any case, let’s see if Samsung has found an elegant solution for this in the Galaxy Note 10.1.
