With MWC 2012 drawing near, more details of HTC’s upcoming devices have surfaced. Firstly the model names are said to be finalised with the quad-core HTC Edge/Endeavor ending up as HTC One X. The other device which is a dual-core HTC Ville will be known as the HTC One S. Both “X” and “S” sounds very similar when pronounced, so make sure you’re referring to the right device if you’re getting one.

According to the latest scoop, the HTC One X will go buttonless and shall utilise on-screen buttons on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This makes the front design clean like the Galaxy Nexus. In terms of storage, it will come with 32GB but it doesn’t come with an expandable micro SD slot. We wonder if this is going to be a trend since newer smart phones such as Galaxy Nexus and even the Xperia S are dropping the expansion slot.

On the display side, the 4.7″ 720p screen is said to be using Super LCD. Other revealed details include NFC, 8MP backlit camera, utilising micro SIM and a 1,800mAh capacity battery. Hit up the source link for the full scoop.
