Just recently the Galaxy Nexus was reported to have a volume bug which was affected by GSM 900MHz signal. What happened is that a Galaxy Nexus would automatically reduce or mute the sound completely whenever their phones switched from 3G to EDGE/GPRS reception.
Those affected are happy to know that Samsung is currently pushing a patch Over The Air (OTA) to Galaxy Nexus owners beginning this week. Those that will be getting their Galaxy Nexus in the next couple of days should receive a prompt to download the update shortly after switching on the first time. Lucky for Samsung and Google that this was solved rather quickly.
