The Samsung Galaxy Note is expected to go on sale in the UK in November. At £500 (about RM2,450), the 1.4GHz dual-core 5.3-inch Android smartphone/tablet hybrid device is expensive but then again, devices in Europe have always been considerably more expensive than anywhere else, still we think the device will be around the RM2,000 mark when it comes to Malaysia.
Speaking of Malaysia, signs are pointing to the possibility of the Galaxy Note launching in Malaysia as early as December and probably no later than February 2012 with a possible operator tie-up.
Apart from the the big 5.3-inch screen, the Galaxy Note brings a 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera and a 2,500mAh battery in a 9.7mm slender body. There’s also a digital stylus which works just like the one that comes with the HTC Flyer with a key difference being that the Galaxy Note has a silo to store the stylus in.
