The last three months of 2011 is going to be awesome for the gadget fans

For the gadget junkie, 2011 has been a particularly eventful one. We’ve seen a lot of product launches this year, possibly more than last year and what’s even more interesting is that we’ve gotten our fair share of first dibs.

Many of the HTC devices arrived to Malaysia first before it hit other markets. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy S II was launched in Malaysia first before it hit US shores, same goes with the Xperia arc and a few other devices. When it came to Apple devices, we saw the iPad 2 come to Malaysia much faster than the first iPad and we can expect the new iPhone to be launched here in the same pace, if not faster.

While most are counting down to the final three months of the year and looking forward to the holidays, don’t think for a moment that manufacturers are taking a breather. There are still a few devices that are coming to Malaysia before we call it a year and a lot is going to happen in the final quarter of 2011.

But what are these devices?

The Nokia N9 is a known quantity, so to is the next-gen iPhone. These devices are definitely coming in Q4 2011 but that’s not all. There are a few other devices from some of the more popular brands in Malaysia that will be making their debut in the same period. At this moment in time we’re not allowed to say anything but boy do we want to.

In any case, do take our word for it. The closing chapter of 2011 is going to be an exciting one for gadget fans just you wait and see. Meanwhile, we’ll keep a close eye on developments, when it is safe to let the cat out of the bag, you’d be sure to know we’ll probably be the first to do it.
