HTC’s first Beats branded phone leaked

This is HTC’s first smartphone to offer Beats Audio technology. Currently codenamed Runnymede, the device looks to be predominantly made out of metal device and is expected to feature a huge 4.7-inch WVGA Super LCD screen, a 1,600mAh battery, a single-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor (same CPU as the HTC Flyer) with 768MB RAM. In the imaging department, you get a dual-LED flash 8-megapixel rear camera with 720p video capabilities and a 1.3-megapixel forward-facing camera, all in a chassis that 9.9mm thick that looks almost identical to the Windows Phone HTC Titan.

In terms of audio performance the device is expected to feature “SRS surround sound with acoustic performance tuned by Beats”. Two version are expected to be available — 16GB and 32GB.

The Android 2.3.4 device is expected to ship with an HTC Beats Solo headphone as well. HTC is scheduled to make an announcement in New York on September 20, we’re expecting the Runnymede to make its debut then.
