ASUS Eee Pad Slider coming to Malaysia

ASUS Malaysia has announced via Facebook that the Eee Pad Slider is coming to Malaysia. This is the 2nd Eee Pad series of honeycomb tablets to enter the country after the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer. No launch dates and pricing have been revealed so far.

Based on earlier specs, the Eee Pad Slider is powered with a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM and choices of 16GB or 32GB storage options. Screenwise, it has an identical 10.1″ WSVGA (1280×800) IPS. In terms of connectivity, it has a mini USB port, 1x Audio Jack, micro SD card reader, a docking port and a mini HDMI out.

We wonder which version ASUS Malaysia decides to bring in and for how much? In the earlier announcement, it was said to be priced between US$499 – US$799.
