Ode to Steve Jobs

Like it or not, Steve Jobs has changed the world. With his devices, with his marketing, with his vision. Jobs is a tenacious innovator and his passion manifested to become Apple. And for that he will be missed as one of the greatest technological minds of our time.

We’re writing this as if Steve has gone to a better place when in actually fact he is still here with us but the magnitude of him no longer at the helm of the world’s foremost technology company is massive.

How will Apple fare without Steve as CEO? Sentiments are split right down the middle. On one side we have those who have confident in Tim Cook continuing where Jobs left off. On the other, Apple will never the same without the man himself.

Realistically speaking however, we all know that this time would come. Everything has a beginning and an end. Sooner of later, Apple will be without its celebrated leader. The time has come and this will be the greatest challenge Apple and Steve Jobs will face. The ultimate measure of the company, the institution and man behind it will be how Apple continues capturing the imagination of its fans and the world without Steve Jobs.

While we observe diligently on how things will unfold at Apple in the coming months, years and decades, head on over to after the jump to admire an amazing visualisation of the man’s professional life, from Apple’s humble beginnings to what is today.
