If only we had an awesome half-time show like this at last night’s World Cup qualifier against Singapore do you think our boys could’ve gotten those elusive three goals to make it through the second round?

Probably not. We didn’t play like we wanted to win it. Our defense was riddled with holes and our midfield lack the creativity and precision to make the most out of the very lethal and potent Safee Sali. Only the stellar performance from one of Malaysia’s best goal keepers in recent history – Khairul Fahmi Che Mat — kept Malaysia in the game denied Singapore of a goal deluge.

So here’s a video to cheer you up from what could have been. Sigh #HarimauMalaya. In any case, we have a lot more games ahead of us. Raise your head up Tigers and make us proud!

Back to the video. Yes, we know that its old. Who said there’s an expiry date on awesomeness?

Also, can you guess all the video game references in the performance? Answer is after the jump. Real geeks do click past it because they already know.
