Sony outs Rube Golberg-esque teaser videos for its Android tablets

The Sony S1 and S2 Honeycomb tablets are something of a curiosity at the moment. Apart from some preliminary specs and some press handout pictures, not much is known about the two tablets that marks Sony’s first attempt at grabbing a piece of the tablet market pie.

While the tablet is set to launch sometime in September, Sony has started releasing a series of teaser videos to showcase some of the capabilities of the Honeycomb pair.

Although there’s a lot to look at in the videos, there’s nothing really telling when it comes to exposing details on the S1 and S2 tablets. There’s five videos in the series (excluding the prologue), guess we’ll have to wait just a little bit more to see if this Sony duo has what it takes to duke it out with the iPad 2 and the much-hyped Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

There’s a very likely chance that these two tablets will make here. Question now is, will you wait a little longer to see what the Sony tablets have to offer or pounce on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as soon as its launched here?

Check out parts one to three of the Sony “Two will” teaser video series for the S1 and S1 tablets after the jump. Tell us what you see.
