HTC Incredible S only RM599 for first 300 DiGi subscribers

Update: We’ve just gotten the above teaser artwork from DiGi. The full details will go up live on DiGi’s website midnight tonight. Full details are now online. 300 units limited to 13 outlets nationwide.

We’ve just got this announcement moments ago. The first 300 customers to subscribe to a 24-months DiGi Smartplan contract will be able to purchase the HTC Incredible S for just RM599. From the press release, details are scarce but we’ve sent a series of questions, so let’s hope they get back to us on more info soon.

But here’s what we know:

  • It looks like the offer is opened nationwide. Effectively you can go to any DiGi outlet that has stock of the Incredible S and if you’re the first 300 to sign-up you get to purchase the device at the very low price.
  • DiGi will start selling the HTC Incredible S this weekend, Saturday April 2.

Currently the link — www.digi.com.my/htc — mentioned in the announcement doesn’t work, so while we await more details from DiGi, head on over the jump to read the announcement.

DiGi offers HTC Incredible S at RM599 for 1st 300 customers

Shah Alam, 31 March 2011, 8.00 pm: DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“DiGi”) continues to deliver the best portfolio of smartphones packages in the market with the latest introduction of the highly anticipated Android phone, HTC Incredible S.

On 2 April 2011, the first 300 customers nationwide can buy HTC’s new flagship device at the promotional price of RM599 if they sign a 24-month DG Smartplan contract. The HTC units are currently only available with DiGi and will be on sale at participating DiGi outlets.

These lucky 300 customers will enjoy savings of RM 1,400 from the recommended retail price of RM1,999. After the promotional price, customers can still enjoy great savings under the following plans:

DG Smartplan 12 months: RM 1,449 per unit
DG Smartplan 24 months: RM 1,199 per unit
