Firefox 4 for Android is finally official after several beta releases. We tried their Firefox 4 Beta 1 which was rather horrid but Mozilla had constantly improved with each release after that. In fact, the latest beta release we tried on a Samsung Galaxy Tab worked pretty well and it is no wonder they have made it official today.
So what’s great about Firefox 4 for Android? Well, it extends your desktop Firefox experience to your mobile device from synced bookmarks, history and even open tabs on your desktop computer. In addition, you can add on more functions with Firefox Add-ons. It also supports full HTML5.
To download, grab it from the Android Market, while Maemo users can download theirs here.
