When the iPad 2 was announced, Apple has also introduced the magical smart cover that attaches and detach by its magnetic action. During the iPad 2 tear down by iFixit, it was revealed that a strip of magnet can be found along the sides of the tablet. Even the wake and sleep feature of the new cover is triggered by a magnet embedded in the outside tip.
With all those magnets around, somebody tried a neat trick of sticking their iPad 2 on their fridge like the one shown above. Looks like a neat trick but we’re not sure how strong those magnets can hold especially when slamming the doors. If you want to try it, do it with extreme caution.
