March 2 launch for iPad 2 CONFIRMED

Officia invite from Apple to the iPad 2 media event

If you’re about to go out to plonk a hefty amount of your hard-earned cash on a brand-spanking new iPad, well you best be keeping that cash back in your pocket because the iPad 2 is coming and it is coming sooner than any of us could ever expected.

Amongst the sea of rumours and speculations surrounding the iPad 2, one is fact.

Apple will make an announcement pertaining the iPad 2 next week — March 2 to be exact and this is confirmed with a media invite sent out Tuesday last week.

Granted, the invite doesn’t specifically mention a launch of the iPad 2 but the design of the invite itself implies that Apple will make some sort of an announcement about the much speculated device. If Apple is going to talk about the iPad 2, they might just as well announce its launch.
