Photos of upcoming BlackBerry Bold Touch leaked

N4BB has managed to get some nice shots of the upcoming BlackBerry Bold replacement which could be called the BlackBerry Bold Touch. It carries the codename “Dakota” for GSM and “Montana” for the CDMA version. While the current BlackBerry Bold 9780 was more of a mere facelift of its previous BlackBerry Bold 9700, the new bold is a different kind of beast altogether.

It features a larger 2.8″ capacitive touchscreen that does 640×480, a 5.0MP camera that can record 720p HD videos and possibly more powerful 1.2GHz processor. From the latest pics shown above, the “Bold Touch” is bigger than the Bold 9700, due to its larger screen and this also makes the QWERTY keypad bigger like its Bold 9000 predecessor. At the back, there’s a slab of carbon fibre which looks pretty good.
