Yes Statement of Accounts details now fully viewable

A week after we discovered the appearance of this “Statement of Accounts” section in the Yes self-care portal, we’ve found out that you can now check the details of your usage with the Yes ebill. This ebill is available within the self-care section of the Yes portal and is available for down in PDF.

In contrast to the previous statements, the ebill shows the full breakdown of charges including data usage, SMS sent and calls made along with rebates earned and top ups made.

The itemised ebill also show where you usage is deducted from. Whether it is from your credit about or your rebate amount. This is tremendously useful as it gives a clear understanding of how the rebates are earned and it keeps track of exactly how much you use from which amount.

The weird part about the ebill is that under the service tax section, only the SMS and phone call usage amount was taxed but data usage wasn’t taxed.

There is a note at the bottom of the ebill that states that government tax only apply to calls and SMS made to other operators using your top up credit. However, calls and SMS within the Yes network are not taxable. In addition, calls and SMS made using rebate credit are not taxable too.

This is a pretty good deal, considering that rebate amounts are almost as good as cash encouraging Yes users to earn as much rebates as possible.
