Sound of ringtone coming out of croc’s belly after swallowing a mobile phone

Here’s an unbelievable story…a 14 year-old croc named Gena in the Ukraine swallowed a mobile phone after the mobile phone owner accidentally dropped it into the reptile’s enclosure while trying to snap a picture of the animal with its mouth agape.

Recollecting the incident Rimma Golovko, the owner of the unfortunate phone, said, “this should have been a very dramatic shot, but things didn’t work out”.

Well…obviously.

Employees working at the aquarium where Gena is kept were initially skeptical with the story but later became believers when they heard the sound of the phone ringing inside the crocodile’s stomach.

But things are not looking good for Gena. The gadget savvy croc has turned passive and been refusing food since ingesting the mobile phone. If things don’t improve Gena will be taken for an X-ray within this week. Surgically removing the phone would be a last resort because as the procedure is invasive and dangerous for animal and vet, and take at least three weeks to heal.

If you’re wondering what kind of phone was it, it was a Nokia but no model was mentioned in the report. Well at least now you know that Nokia phones are pretty tough.

Unbelievable story? After all that we’ve seen on the internet, nothing is unbelievable anymore.
