We usually buy cases and casings to protect our expensive smart phones but have it occurred to you that your smart phone could one day safe your life?
That’s what happened to one HTC user who while on the job as a valet at a night club in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, was shot at when some disgruntled patrons of the club fired shots in the building’s direction. The man had his phone — possibly a Droid Incredible or an EVO 4G — in his left chest pocket had and it stopped a bullet from injuring him.
It’s a pretty amazing story but its definitely not unheard of. We know of at least two other similar incidences, one involving an Motorola Razr and the other a case in South America involving an obscure Nokia phone.
