These iPad 2 pictures look real but…

…they are not. As delicious as they may look, these pictures are mere mock-ups of what the new iPad could possibly look like and they do look good.

All the usual suspects are present, the thinner form factor slate, the tapered form factor, the front- and rear-facing cameras. There’s even a carbon fibre version.

Worth noting that the 3D render has left out the two other speculated items to make it on the iPad 2, that is the SD card slot and the USB port. We wonder how close this is to the real deal. No matter, an announcement is expected within this couple of months.
