RIM has just released a series of BlackBerry PlayBook commercials that cheekily plays on the strengths of the device. The ads are a bit too abstract for us. We’d prefer a more direct link with what the PlayBook can do and what is being shown on screen but given that there are already a few of those on YouTube already this will do.
Though it still doesn’t address the concern we have with regards to the to need for the PlayBook to be tethered to a BlackBerry phone for the user to be able to BBM, check emails and calendar. We’ll have to find out about that when we review one.
