DiGi subscribers can now download music from DiGiMusic with their very own iPhone App. This makes music purchase easier and cheaper for iPhone users as DiGiMusic is a subscription based service. For a mere RM5/month, you can download from a range of 500,000 songs from Universal Music and Sony BMG Labels.
Unlike iTunes, this app manages your music separately from the iPod app as it uses a different file management. Basically you would need to use the same app to listen to the songs. By default, the app supports 100 songs but this can be changed to support up to 500 songs in the settings.
Before you go on a downloading spree, the RM5 music subscription fee does not include data charge so it is advisable to get a data plan first. Read up the FAQ for more details here.
