Xperia X10 blog has been tipped on a possible successor of Sony Ericsson’s android flagship device. The device which carries the codename Anzu is said to be designed to run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
It will also come with a 4.3″ display and offers HDMI output in a slim candybar profile. However from the photo above, the device currently runs on Android 2.1 and the final product is expected to be released somewhere in Q1 2011. Nothing else has been revealed but we’re guessing this could be launched together with Sony’s portable gaming device that runs on Android. It is good to see that Sony Ericsson is actually doing something and we hope this time around they would be proactive in releasing products with current Android versions. No more new Xperias with Android 1.6 please!
