Great news for Galaxy Tab users or buyers to be. According to a Samsung Hub, Samsung India has announced that the Samsung will release Gingerbread (Android 2.3) and Honeycomb (Android 3.0) upgrades for its Samsung Galaxy Tab. As you probably know, Gingerbread should be making an appearance soon and it is commendable for Samsung to be commited in supporting its devices with the latest OS.
However we are skeptical on their support until Honeycomb as that’s still some time away. By the time Honeycomb is out, Samsung might probably be too busy focusing on newer tablet devices with more powerful specs and features. Anyway, let’s see if they will keep to their promise.
Looks like the Samsung Galaxy Tab is a futureproof Android tablet, unless of course if Samsung changes its mind halfway.
