There’s a new statue at Google HQ and it comes in a form of a gingerbread. What this means, is a new Android OS is coming real soon which expected to be Android 2.3 that comes after Froyo.
For the Android platform, Google used various dessert or food names for its naming convention in alphabetical order. It started with C with Cupcake (Android 1.5), followed by Donut (1.6), EClair (2.0/2.1) and Frozen Yoghurt (2.2).
