Motorola has released a fresh new range of Android devices that come in a variety of form factors. A total of 7! The Motorola Spice is one of them that caught our attention as it features a vertical slider QWERTY keyboard. Yup, it sure does look similar with a Palm Pre and BlackBerry Torch.

The Motorola Spice is powered with a 528MHz processor and comes with a 3.0″ QVGA 240×320 TFT display. Connectivity wise, it supports HSDPA up to 3.6Mbps, WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth with A2DP and aGPS. The spice runs on Android 2.1. At the back, there’s a 3MP Camera with 8X Digital Zoom. For ease of navigation, it also comes with Motorola’s own BACTRACK which is a touchpad located at the back for navigation use.

It is disappointing that a funky form factor like this is using a lower 528MHz processor. It is the same story as the Motorola BackFlip which is now available in Malaysia through Maxis. No details on availability or pricing is known at this point.
