Those of you who have been using iPhones for the longest time, well you don’t know the kind of cool apps that’s only available for Android that you’ve been missing out on. Ok, to be fair, there’s a number of cool apps on iOS that you can’t get on Android as well.
Ok, whatever it is, Google Goggles is one of the coolest apps you can get on a smartphone and previously it was only available on Android devices but now it’s available for iPhone users too, and it’s really sleek.
We like how the app is implemented on the iPhone, and if we may be a bit subjective at the moment, it looks better on the iPhone than on the Android. *gasp*
But Goggles works well on either, it’s just that we think it looks a tad better on the iPhone.
Goggles is enabled only for English-speaking users, and since it requires an auto-focusing camera it is supported only on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 running iOS 4 or above.
To download Google Goggles on your iPhone click the direct iTunes link here. Or you can search for “Google Mobile App“.
It’s embedded in the official Google Mobile app for iPhone so if you’ve already downloaded that, all you need to do is update that app.
Head on over to after the jump for a short video demo on Google Goggles.
