The biggest thing happening this month will be Microsoft’s comeback to the mobile arena with Windows Phone 7. The official platform launch is happening October 11 and we’re expecting a plethora of WP7 devices to hit the market soon after that.

Word on the street is that Microsoft will be launching WP7 simultaneously worldwide so we’re expecting the new platform to make and appearance here in Malaysia.

While we wait for the launch, here’s a video pitting an unfinished Windows Phone 7 running on a prototype phone against the iPhone 4 and Google’s Nexus One.

If this early built of the Windows Phone 7 is anything to go by, there’s indeed a lot to loo forward to come its launch this October 11. Question is now, how well with the app ecosystem support WP7 because as sleek as the platform goes, that will be the deciding factor in this epic mobile OS battle.

In any case, head on over to after the jump to see how WP7 compares against the iPhone 4 and Nexus One.
