HTC SG retracts No Froyo upgrade for Legend, Desire getting it next week?

While Legend owners are showing dismay that Android 2.2 aka Froyo is not possible, HTC Singapore had quickly retracted their statement on the no-upgrade comment made yesterday.

A quick check today revealed that the same comment was deleted. This eventually leads to a possibility that Android 2.2 Froyo might be available to the HTC Legend along its other Android siblings launched this year. We find no other reason for retraction except that it is definitely coming.

It is too early to tell right now but we also heard some rumours that HTC Desire might be getting the Android 2.2 Froyo next week, 23rd of June. When that happens, most likely other HTC models would be getting it shortly after that.
