Bernama reports that Maxis & PayPal have signed a strategic collaboration to enable online PayPal transactions over mobile.
This would be the first time ever that PayPal is working with a telco to offer e-commerce service for mobile users.
Maxis already has a fare share of experience when it comes to online with their M-money. With PayPal in the picture, this could be an interesting new payment platform that Maxis users can benefit for easy transaction.
One of the key benefits of PayPal is being able to make secure transaction without revealing your credit card details to the merchant. It is also backed by a reputable dispute handling in case of transaction conflict.
This is just a ceremony to announce that Maxis and PayPal is working together but no dates yet on the service being launched.
