Clues point to iChat, forward facing camera and flash on iPhone HD

As developers are getting their hands on the the iPhone OS 4.0, some have uncovered what could be clues that point to the possibility of iChat, forward facing camera and flash making it to the upcoming iPhone HD.

Like all rumours of this sort, there is no way to confirm or deny it and the existance of such features could very well be for something else entirely.

Having said that, the guys at MobileCrunch have put up a compeling theory of as to what the clues could actually mean.

In addition, Engadget have also discovered processes in the iPhone OS 4.0 SDK that points to the possibility of some sort of flash and torchlight function.

All this is nothing new in the mobile world, so why are we all getting worked up when Apple puts it on an iPhone?

Apple coming late into the game could very well mean one thing – a game changing execution and implementation of a traditional application. In this case, video calls.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed.
