Mobile Broadband is now having a price war and the direction these days seem to focus more into the lower budget target markets. Previously Mobile Broadband used to be for the higher end market with subscription rates going more than RM100/month.
Today, we’re begining to see more lower entry pricing below RM100, such as Maxis’s RM78/month plan and even P1’s Wiggy RM69/month package.
DiGi that vows to make broadband done right, is not going to be left behind as well. They too had released a lower priced package targeted at students for only RM58/month with FREE Modem. This is applicable for students between 18-25 years old which are mostly college/university students.
The DiGi Broadband student package has an average speed of 700kbps downlink and 200kbps uplink with a monthly bandwidth quota of 3GB/month.
