After finally rolling out Cyanogen OS 12 and Oxygen for the OnePlus One, the Chinese brand is looking to expand their company even further as it plans to boosts output.
They have plans to increase their staff to 1,500 employees this year and the successor to the OnePlus One, which is likely to be called the OnePlus Two, is estimated to be available by the third quarter of this year with better hardware than it’s predecessor. OnePlus sold over a million smartphones last year and they’re ambitiously planning to ship out between three to five million units this year, especially with the new model on the way.
No details yet on the new phone but we expect they will become available as we approach Q3. In the mean time, if you want to snag the OnePlus One locally, you can pick one up from Maxis.
